It was just like a dream... tho' I hv ever been to LA ... keep taking amazing classes with amazing ppl for months ... it's just really different feeling from that this time.
The Essence New MVMNT in Hong Kong!!! my idols in my hometown !!! it sounds unbelieveable... n ? the week's already passed !!!! I appreciated it a lot coz it's not just dance classes... but an inspring workshop!! to learn to be a better dancer / chreographer or a PERSON ~
Thx for teaching in details ...and giving us so much advises on the method of practising ~ thx for dividing us into small groups to give each person individual comment~ thx for the sharing session ... thx for the encouragement tho' we / I kept messed up !!
Geeg always talk about FIRE of us ... somehow I do agree Hong Kong ppl's fire of dancing is burning fiercely in these yrs .... but for the attitude or the breadth of mind ? I do hv reserve. (well ...just my personal opinion...) ppl there in States ... appreciate or learn all kinds of style ... and keep to be inspired in different classes or practises~ Here ... no doubt... it's a commercial city ..... everyone is like inside a box ~ just see if it's a small box / a big box !!!
everyone wants to improve ... to get ur own style ...n how ? as Apes said ..."dun live in a box ~ break thru it !!!!!" I'm glad that I'm a freelance now~ I can do whatever I want to ...go wherever I'd like to be ... Just to broaden ur vision ......the world is soooo big ... how's everything outthere ? u never know ! dun just stick on ur own ... ...plz~
Danced for XX yrs...went thru a lot .... struggled in the commercial field ...failed in casting ....messed up in shows ..... getting lost in choreographing ...teaching or whatever ~ the 1st time i found myself ...is the time when I met Geeg...... she just inspired me a lot....n changed my mind ~ the first person made me cry by just watching she danced ...(still luv the routine "Yesterday"!!!!) and then ...see the Essence growing stronger and stronger... love all girls there with her ....Apes ...Clarizcel ...Candace...Janet ...Audrey............. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.............no more vocab..... just thx for sharing everything with us !!!
